I think that your wall needs more work. I think it won't pass the standards if you submit it like that.

The colors are blinding, and the stock photo you used is very obvious. Also, the characters seemed "translucent", like they were fading into the background.

Try using soft, eye-friendly colors so it doesn't make the people go "AHH!", with what just happened to me. You could also try painting the stock background so it blends in with the characters. Don't make the characters stand out from the background, nor make them fade in. Blend them so they go together.

In order to achieve a wall that passes standards, try practicing with Photoshop or whatever program you have - explore its different functions and master them. There are also a lot of tutorials out there to help you. Practice the functions of the program first, and when you've got the hang of it and you're pretty confident, apply these skills to make a wallpaper, and hopefully it will soon meet standards.

You can't be a master overnight - it takes practice and perseverance. Practice makes perfect.

u see i accually wanted to have like a blue fade purple kinda thing but then yer it didnt go according to plan >_____>;;;

ah. . . . about it not blending in . . . well u see im actually using a trail version of opencanvas and well... it doesnt have a blanding tool DX so im waitting impaitently to get the full ver

untill then i ahve to use smudge and yes it doesnt make a difference DX

anyhows i tried and make it less vibrant this time by making my own grandit thingy ^^;;

Even though you're using Open Canvas, it can still do a lot of things. Read more tutorials in getting used to that thing. And I suggest that you switch to Adobe Photoshop - you can download it via torrent (look that up if you don't know).

It still looks like the scan was slapped onto the bg. It would have been better if you preserved the colors of the scan and then painted over the stock photo. Go to Paint-O-Rama for tutorials. There's lots of them.

Honestly, it looks very bland and plain with the monotone color and the scan just being placed on top of the stock photo. A good wallpaper is not usually done in a just a few minutes, but with hours of effort and excellence. You could add effect such as lighting, birds, and all. Just look up tutorials on that. Read tutorials and try to follow and master them. They REALLY help a lot.

Put more thought and effort into what you make, and not just for the sake of making it. Art is not rushed either. (Did Leonardo da Vinci paint the Mona Lisa in a few minutes? No!) Get what I mean?

Everybody starts as a beginner, and not a master at once. But how did they become masters? Practice.

Practice, practice, practice!

yer i noe thks on where to find tutorials from yer i wanted to make it look better like u noe floral patterns for borders ect but >____>;; dont have brushes like that for OC ^^ ill try playing around with it after ive finished my testes thks fro the advice ^^
